The My Space classifieds have one more category than tribe.net. The list of high-level categories is:

Looking For
For Sale
Jobs Hiring
Jobs Seeking
Find A Roommate
Items Wanted
Cars For Sale
Personals

I think Tribe.net would benefit from adding the Personals category also.

My space also has a Journal feature that I mentioned previously. The Tribe Ideas group has mentioned this and the tribe staff have said that they want to add this feature in a future version.

I also like that the tribe.net listings have a "degrees from you" or "(unrelated)" item below their listing within the categories; Something that My Space doesn't have. My Space also has fewer posts in the Classifieds section than Tribe.net does. Possibly because its a newer service.

I think the biggest feature that Tribe.net is missing is a Browse User [My Space] or Gallery [Friendster] feature. It's fun to see who else is out there. Friendster only lets you see whose in your Personal Network but since My Space autmoatically adds a moderator to new accounts, the personal network pool of people is huge and the search function returns lots of people even if you have only the initial moderator friend that you got when you signed up.
