My space has a lot of member sites that have been customized through hacks in the About Me and other sections of their member sites.

I visited a favorite site and plucked the necessary HTML to play one of my songs when my site is visited. I'm still trying to figure out how to make the background image change but the biggest problem with the myspace.com home page edits is that they seem to be building the sites every twenty four hours, and not immediately so it takes a day to see your changes take effect on the View My Profile page.

I like this feature but some people would argue that music, videos ot anything that generates sound on a web page is a bad thing for those that surf these sites ata work on the DL. I still think that home page customization is a great idea but maybe with some controls for the visiting user to other people's sites so that they could choose to ignore anything music, or plug-in related, and a method to allow people to turn off the music after it starts playing.

Customization of user pages is a really kick ass feature, I just wish that it wasn't through hacks in the HTML renednering.
